Our sustainable journey

Our passion for designing icons, with a sustainable long-lasting quality, is at the heart of everything we do. Combined with high-end material, stylistic durability, and function. We choose our products, not based on passing trends, but on timeless and long-lasting designs, that can live on for generations. Hopefully, this will ensure that our products are passed on, to tell their own story – maybe in your grandchild’s room sometime in the future.

We are on a conscious journey with a vision of continuously developing our design lines to become increasingly sustainable, and we strive to give our consumers all the information they need to make an informed decision towards a more sustainable future.

Long-lasting as our core value

We develop long-lasting quality designs in contrast to the fast fashion culture that has a less sustainable approach to design and lifestyle items. We care for our designs, also after they have left the store. To help our customers to take good care of the products we are developing guidelines for optimal maintenance and repair, as well as guidelines for potential disposal. Our ambition is to make sure that all future products are developed based on new design principles such as design for recycling.

Constantly exploring new ways of becoming more sustainable

With every new product in development, we explore new ways to improve and become more sustainable in both the choice of material and production method.

Most recently, we have participated in a nationwide government program working to gain a deeper knowledge of the emissions produced by our production and the materials we use. This has given us a more critical approach to our value chain, as well as awareness of alternative materials with less environmental impact. Knowledge, we strive to incorporate in all current and future designs to reduce our footprint even further.

A new “Green Line” collection

Our production can never be completely CO2 neutral, but our increased knowledge of sustainability has motivated us to develop a new “Green line” design. Production will focus on circularity, reduced material consumption, minimal waste, and value-based partnerships. We expect the development of our new “Green-line series” to be in progress during 2023.
